We are an international team, whose areas of expertise are focused on the synthesis and characterization of:
- synthetic polymers;
- nanomaterials;
- biomolecule conjugates;
- functional surfaces.

Along these lines, we strive to develop methodologies and materials in a more sustainable way.

[February 2026] Current synthetic tools in the group encompass controlled reversible-deactivation radical polymerizations, ring-opening polymerizations (cationic and metathesis mostly, but also anionic and radical), anionic polymerization, polymerizations in dispersed media (incl. polymerization-induced self-assembly), post-polymerization modifications, surface functionalization, biopolymer and enzyme engineering.

Above: An overview of the techniques and the materials the group has been or is currently working with/on.
